Landscape design and ecological surveys and advice to accompany a planning application for a single-storey, low-energy weekend house in a 7.5ha rural site in the Suffolk Sandlings. Proposals included a large pond, boundary and tree planting associated with the new house, including extensive bulb planting, and a new ‘bat house’ to mitigate for the loss of existing bat habitat arising from the removal of the original building.
