Landscape appraisal and feasibility study for enabling development to support renovation of redundant Victorian hospital. The site included the C18 Claybury Hall and part of a degraded Repton parkland, as well as the complex of gothic-style listed hospital buildings set in mature grounds.
A masterplan for the site required sensitive re-development of the hospital and exploration of the scope to restore aspects of the Repton landscape and consultation with a variety of stakeholders, including English Heritage and London Wildlife Trust. Commission also included a detailed tree survey, TPO objection, attendance at Public Inquiry, a landscape strategy for the setting of the listed building, detailed landscape design for conversion and new-build residential areas, preparation of a management plan for S299A Agreement, and detailed design and contract administration for the public park.
