Public realm design advice to assist Lewisham Council on their pilot project for the Mayor of London The Waterloo to Greenwich Quietway (also known as Q2) is one of two pilot projects funded by the Mayor’s office that, if successful, will be rolled out across the city over the next ten years. The proposed route for Q2 makes use of quiet streets and passes through car free areas that includes a number of parks and open spaces. Funding from the Mayor’s office for improved crossings, entrances and routes for cycling will be combined with funding from a number of other sources to make other park improvements at Folkestone Gardens.
