Development of landscape proposals for a new 62-bed nursing dementia residential care home with specialist Alzheimer’s disease unit. The site was located on the edge of an area of new residential development and adjacent to a country park. The scheme included detailed design of sensory gardens to encourage residents’ mobility, a dementia garden and an interface with the new country park. Visitors are encouraged to drop in and be part of the community.
