Historic Landscape Assessment, Design and Management Strategy, and Conservation Management Plan to support a successful planning application to construct a swimming pool within the grounds of Little Thurlow Hall, an important example of an early 18th century canal garden and within the setting of the listed house.
The reports analysed the background and historical significance of the site and its context, identified opportunities for enhancement, and set out the design context for the garden restoration and integration of the swimming pool in order to help secure the long-term future of the gardens.
