Diss Corn Hall Refurbishment and Heritage Triangle, Diss, Norfolk
Diss Corn Hall stands at the apex of an area branded as the Diss Heritage Triangle, contained within the Diss Conservation Area and bounded to the south by the 6 acre Mere, the Heritage Triangle includes the Diss ‘Shambles’ Museum, St Mary’s church and over 100 listed buildings. The Landscape Partnership prepared design proposals to accompany the Diss Heritage Triangle Heritage Lottery Fund Stage Two application for restoration and extension works to the Corn Hall and for the streetscape of the town’s Heritage Triangle. The project aimed to transform the fortunes of this ancient town through the development of its heritage assets to make Diss a destination and a living library of market town life and custom.
