Landscape and urban design input to the update and extension of an existing 10-year masterplan for the Uxbridge campus in order to bring it up-to-date with the current London Plan and other relevant guidance. The masterplan sets out a planting and wildlife habitat strategy for the campus, and an access strategy showing future routes and connections for pedestrians and cyclists, including wayfinding and signage, as well as the compilation of a comprehensive materials palette to guide future development proposals. Following the masterplan, the practice’s commission was extended to provide landscape proposals and a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment to support a planning application for a new academic research facility within the Green Belt on the eastern edge of the campus.
