Biomass, Energy from Waste and Recycling

The Landscape Partnership has been involved in a number of projects involving large structures typically in rural locations utilising organic waste products. These have included anaerobic digestion plants, commercial recycling centres, and energy from waste and composting plants. The practice has advised both private clients and county and district councils in the assessment of applications. Services provided include: LVIAs, visualisations, ecology surveys, mitigation proposals and provision of expert witness at Public Inquiry.

The practice was awarded a Royal Town Planning Institute’s East of England Planning Achievement Award in recognition of its approach to securing a planning permission for a unique bio-gas plant on a former American airbase in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB near Woodbridge.
