As part of a public realm strategy for a city centre university campus masterplan, we prepared concept proposals to address the major severance of the university campus created by the ring road looking at ways to unlock the potential of this interesting space to create spaces and places to bring people and students together.
For a new University multi-storey car park in a city centre location, we prepared a public realm design for the circulation space between existing and new buildings, which included a grove of birch and oak trees, within bands of paving and planting. Project involved development of sketch proposals through to detailed proposals for discharge of planning condition and retention as client advisor during implementation phase by Design and Build contractor.
