Overarching vision, strategic masterplan, and townscape and public realm strategy to guide the future development of Deptford and New Cross and ensure that development of key regeneration sites created a safe and sustainable environment, with a strong local identity. The project involved urban capacity studies, massing, movement and open space strategies to demonstrate how regeneration could bring about high-quality open space and public realm.
Following the success of the North Lewisham Masterplan, our involvement led to the preparation of a public realm and links strategy for the local highways authority to identify and prioritise public realm projects; it provided a project scope and delivery strategy for improvements to key movement routes and related open spaces.
