Landscape design and BREEAM Ecology (RIBA stages 3-5) for three commercial warehouse units in Crawley, in the vicinity of Gatwick airport, addressing the requirements of the LPA’s Green Infrastructure Strategy. Detailed planting proposals were provided for discharge of planning conditions, including pre-grown green fences for screening along the site’s eastern boundary and wildlife friendly planting that also complied with the LPA’s requirements to minimize bird strike.
Scope included a planting strategy, a landscape design statement, detailed planting plans and softworks construction details, as well as an Ecology report and advice for achieving the requisite BREEAM credits for an ‘Excellent ‘ rating.
