The Landscape Partnership has experience in many solar energy projects in a variety of locations. We have carried out LVIAs, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Arboricultural Surveys in support of applications to assess the suitability of schemes on sites, and to guide the layouts of solar arrays and appropriate mitigation for residents and recreational users in the landscape. Photomontages have been produced for both planning applications and public exhibitions. Solar schemes have been assessed on behalf of local planning authorities and expert witness services provided at Informal Appeal Hearings and Public Inquiries.
