Landscape proposals for school grounds and external courtyard gardens for a new lower school within a greenfield location in Elstow, Bedfordshire. The design for one garden was based on a sanctuary theme and provided areas for individual quiet reading, small group discussion and class teaching within a restful environment. The other courtyard was based around an ‘Educational’ theme and incorporated play features, sensory planting and a performance area.
Commission included design layout, detail design, preparation of construction details and specification and inspection of works.
