Landscape and environmental appraisal of redundant hospital, including identifying opportunities and constraints for the land and the feasibility of redevelopment for residential use within the setting of listed buildings. The initial landscape visual appraisal was used in preparation of a local authority planning brief for the project and the allocation in the Local Plan. This led to the detailed design of proposals around the listed building, a landscape masterplan for the entire site, input to the Environmental Statement and Input to the Design Guide. Detailed designs were prepared for hard and soft works for parks, play areas, open spaces and planting belts.
