Landscape and Ecological consultancy services for all stages of the construction of a new relief road from route selection through assessment to onsite administration and long-term monitoring. The new road follows a line through a green corridor, thereby relieving pressure on the traffic-dominated London Road South and enabling the latter’s regeneration and the introduction of public realm improvements associated with the Waveney Sunrise Scheme.
Commission included coordination of Environmental Impact Assessment and editing of subsequent Environmental Statement; preparation of LVIA; extensive pre-planning consultation; provision of Landscape and Ecological expert witness services at Public Inquiry; design of mitigation measures and associated public realm enhancements; and administration of landscape contract and management and monitoring works.
