Whiteley Village, London Borough of Elmbridge

One of a pair of large Liquidambar trees growing at Whitely Village, a large residential development set within woodland and built at the turn of the last century as accommodation for the retired. The original development now falls within a Conservation Area and contains a large number of mature trees set within a rigid symmetrical landscape.

The Landscape Partnership provided arboricultural and landscape design advice in support of a series of phased upgrades of the existing accommodation and several phases of new build, including very sheltered accommodation and enabling development. The work included initial tree surveys in accordance with BS 5837 to support planning applications and Arboricultural Implications Assessments and Arboricultural Method Statements for each phase.
